Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and developing LIMS projects, including master data creation, modification, and updates.Implementing new modules within the organisation, eg raw materials and batches.Improve operational performance using workflows in LIMS and bridging LIMS to other lab management systems and equipment.The LIMS specialist act as a SME and as such are encouraged to help with trouble shooting of the live system as and when issues arise.Perform routine software and system administration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.Assist in technical writing tasks such as protocol reports and CoA.Validate and maintain excel spreadsheets used for data analysis and reporting.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the QC department.Conduct trending analysis to identify patterns, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.Work on deviations and CAPAs affecting the QC organization, conducting detailed investigations and implementing effective corrective actions.
Key requirements:
Master or Bachelor’s degree (or gained experience) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, or related subject area).Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QC or related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar industry. (cGMP)Proficiency in LIMS softwareStrong analytical skills with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.Diligent with a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.Experience in Excel, Smartsheet’s and technical writing is helpful.
