WPHL-TV is hiring!

WPHL-TV/CW is hiring a creative and motivated lifestyle producer for a daily hour-long lifestyle show launching in Philadelphia this fall.

The show will highlight local businesses and events happening throughout the Delaware Valley to help promote our brand – We Are Philadelphia.

Responsibilities include:

Serve as daily producer for a community-focused lifestyle showOrganize show content in a cohesive sequence to engage and grow audienceBook and schedule live and pre-taped in-studio interviews and on-location segmentsAssists in writing, researching, and coordinating content on entertainment and culture news stories for on-air and webWork closely with the Executive Producer/Co-host and Co-host/Reporter to pitch content and segment ideasWork closely with sales & marketing to integrate & schedule sponsored client segmentsAssist Executive Producer/Host with Production and Creative Services teams on taping schedules (in studio and remote production) and live show managementActively participate in daily content meetingsLine Producer/booth an hour-long live show Monday through Friday.Assist with running the Teleprompter during live and pre-recorded segments, as neededBuild relationships with guests, clients, community members, celebrities, and show contributors.Other duties as assigned by Creative Services Director.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum 2 years’ experience producing a live lifestyle or variety showMust have strong organization and communication skills and ability to prioritize and multi-taskMust be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work alone and as part of a teamAbility to meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere.Knowledge of ENPSKnowledge of Wordpress is a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Software, especially Outlook and Microsoft WordSocial media fluency
