We seek a Life Science Reagent Technical Specialist for the Virtual Sales BioA Reagents & Consumables team. In this role, you will provide technical support and sales expertise across North America. This includes handling technical support inquiries for Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays, supporting the Reagents & Consumables (R&C) sales team, and managing a sales territory in North America to build customer relationships and meet sales targets.
The current team consists of six professionals, and we are looking to add headcount and grow the business alongside you. This position is available full-time. If you reside in or near our US headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, you will have the flexibility of home or hybrid office work. The position may include occasional domestic or international travel (10%).
What You Will Accomplish With Us:
Manage technical support requests for Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays across North AmericaAssist the R&C sales team with technical support during sales activitiesCollaborate with product management to resolve complex product inquiriesAnalyze customer needs, generate leads, and recommend solutionsUtilize Salesforce (SFDC) to document support cases, leads, and sales activitiesPromote newly launched LSR&C products and ensure successful implementationManage the North America sales territory, achieving sales and revenue targetsIdentify and develop new business opportunities aligned with growth strategies.Willingness to travel occasionally up to 10% to domestic and international destinationsWhat will convince us:
BS/BA in Life Sciences2+ years of experience in cell culture and transient transfectionHands-on Experience with DNA/siRNA transfection, cell matrices & coatings, and application of cytokinesProficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft OfficeHigh emotional intelligence skillsA proactive and self-motivated personality with good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teamsWe Value:
