KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: + Assist new Licensing Manager with the execution of strategic initiatives/projects in support of Operations, Real Estate/Construction, M&A, & Digital. Identify key considerations to ensure alignment, execution, and obstacle elimination while navigating complex regulatory requirements. + Responsible for timely obtaining operational licenses and permits for new locations and franchisee changeovers including but not limited to business, alcohol, tobacco, food, lottery and SNAP/EBT. Includes significant interaction and coordination with outside consultants/attorneys. + Research and advise Operations, M&A, and other stakeholders on the licensing impact of anticipated transactions (including acquisitions, new jurisdictions, new lines of business, etc.). + Assist with implementation of process improvement initiatives and performance management programs consistent with department, finance-team, and Company-wide goals and objectives. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: + Strong computer skills (Excel, sales tax return software, etc.) + Solid written and verbal communication skills + Individual must be well organized, reliable and action oriented + Individual must be able to prioritize multiple tasks as well as time-sensitive deadlines This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by the individuals assigned to this job.
