Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care team!

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides quality and safe delivery of home health services. Performs nursing acts supportive and complementary to the nursing practice.

The Medical Assistant is a member of the care team in the clinic setting who performs a variety of clinic tasks as directed by the clinic team. Medical assistants may perform tasks they are trained in and deemed competent to complete. 

HOURS:Full-Time or 0.9 FTE, 72 hours every 2 weeks. AM/PM Rotation

Experience/Qualifications

LPN

Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation of an approvedpractical nurse program and completed formal course of instruction in medication administration.One to two years’ medical/surgical experience necessary to enhance and develop skills, with one to two years of progressive home care experience beneficial.Current Wisconsin and/or Michigan LPN licensure.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. Driver’s License Required – Not required for Flu Clinic Employees

Is able to travel to patient/client homes to provide patient/client care.Valid driver’s license required.Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.


MA

A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program.Two to three years of healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire – All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the America Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
