**Description:**
**Position Purpose**
At Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center. This unit is a primary stroke center and is a pediatric receiving facility. The unit is consistent of 46 beds, 8 of which are emergency behavioral health beds. You will engage with staff from the unit and build relationships and learn different types of nursing and become savvy with new skill sets.
**What you will do**
In this critical role you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, play an active part in unit shared decision making, and enjoy practice autonomy using nurse driven protocols.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ **Education** : Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
+ **Licensure** : Current Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Connecticut.
+ **Certification** : Active BLS
**Preferred Skills:**
+ **Experience:** Acute care, Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
**Work Schedule** :
+ Full Time - 36-hour Night Shift.
+ Rotating Weekends and Holidays.
