Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) – Contract Long Term Care Facility

Location: Goldsboro,NC

Contract Duration: 8Weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: Localand Travel Rate Options Available!

 

Shift Openings:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36/48 hours, EOW

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate andexperienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an 8-week contractat a long term care facility. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionateabout person-centered care and thrive in a collaborative, supportiveenvironment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents, including those with chronic conditions and age-related health concerns. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with individual care plans and facility protocols. Monitor residents’ health status, report changes promptly, and assist in implementing appropriate interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and CNAs, to ensure comprehensive resident care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, observations, and resident progress.

 

Requirements:

Active LPN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care settings Strong communication skills Ability to work effectively in a structured, team-based environment CPR/BLS certification (required)
