Licensed Practical Nurse II - CONTINUOUS
The Lemuel Shattuck Hospital (LSH), operated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), is currently seeking experienced LPN II professionals to join our Med/Surg unit teams. In this vital role, you'll work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide direct, practical nursing care to a diverse patient population, including individuals from the Department of Mental Health (DMH), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Department of Correction (DOC), Houses of Correction (HOC), and the broader community. As an LPN II, you'll take the lead in coordinating high-quality care by directing ancillary staff and implementing the nursing process to support patient recovery and well-being. */_Please Note:_/*Multiple Shifts available. Located in the heart of Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood, the Shattuck Hospital includes 248 inpatient beds including 95 Psychiatric beds and 29 Correctional Health beds. In addition, the Shattuck has a full outpatient clinic with many specialties that offers treatment to patients of the Department of Mental Health as well as Department of Correction and House of Correction inmates and community patients. The Shattuck hospital is on the forefront of substance use disorder treatment including a Suboxone clinic serving 200 patients.
