Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for endorsing, interpreting, and enforcing objectives and procedures, as well as planning, directing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the activities of all nursing personnel within your assigned area.
Responsibilities
Endorse, interpret, and enforce the objectives and procedures of the nursing department.Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area.Conduct daily conferences with unit staff to review and communicate recent policy and procedure changes.Extend courtesy to all unit visitors.Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available on the assigned unit.Provide consultation for unit personnel, resolve immediate problems, and communicate actions to the Unit Supervisor.Essential Skills

This position offers a structured work environment with orientation from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Work shifts include day (7:30am-3:30pm), evening (3:30pm-11:30pm), and night (11:30pm-7:30am). The role offers a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity, holiday pay, and the potential for a sign-on bonus or student loan forgiveness upon permanent employment. Employees will also benefit from a 403b and employer-paid pension. The facility is a women-owned and founded union position once converted to permanent employment, with over 200 contingent workers on site.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $44.00/hr.
