Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will provide safe and effective delivery of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. The role involves providing appropriate clinical and non-clinical information to facilitate the visit process, maintaining sterility and cleanliness of the environment, managing supplies, equipment, and instruments, and supporting clerical functions as needed. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

ResponsibilitiesDeliver uncomplicated clinical services under supervision.Facilitate visit processes by providing relevant information.Ensure sterility and cleanliness of the healthcare environment.Maintain and manage supplies, equipment, and instruments.Support clerical functions and perform additional duties as assigned.Take vitals, height, weight, and perform lab draws and cheek swabs.Answer phones and portal messages, responding in a timely manner.Schedule appointments and work on authorizations for patients.Essential SkillsCurrent Virginia state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Compact State license.Experience in patient care and healthcare settings.Knowledge of triage, electronic health records, and electronic medical records.Additional Skills & QualificationsPediatric experience preferred.Neurology experience preferred.Work Environment

This position is in the Neurology Department, operating Monday through Friday. Typical hours are 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM from Monday to Thursday, with a rotating late shift on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to be part of a team. Travel to an offsite location is required twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
