Hanna Health centre is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in a medical inpatient acute care setting. The Hanna Health Centre is comprised of a 24-hour Emergency Department, a 17-bed Acute Care ward, and a 61-bed Long Term Care facility. You must be able to work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team, have the ability to assess, coordinate, administer and evaluate provision of health services. Demonstration of current nursing knowledge, efficiency, communication and team skills are required. You will accept responsibility for continuing competences through ongoing professional development, including participation in education and orientation and continuous quality improvement activities. You will follow nursing standards/protocols as required. The LPN is responsible and accountable to the public for his/her own practice according to the standards defined by CLPNA. Hanna is located 199 km from Red Deer, with a population of 2,673. The town offers its residents a friendly, safe, and small-town lifestyle. Hanna residents benefit from a wide variety of amenities within the town, such as the Aquatic Centre for swimming, Centennial Place for fitness and other activities, and two lakes within 15 kilometers of the town where residents can waterski or enjoy the sandy beaches.
