Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in serving as a communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your tasks will include keeping precise records and documentation, overseeing and replenishing supplies, executing quality assurance tasks, and supporting the onboarding and training of new staff members. Additionally, you will gather and prepare patient history information, manage and organize laboratory data, offer follow-up instructions, handle advanced telephone triage, and engage in research projects.

ResponsibilitiesServe as a communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers.Maintain precise records and documentation.Oversee and replenish medical supplies.Execute quality assurance tasks as assigned.Support the onboarding and training of new staff members.Gather and prepare patient history information.Manage and organize laboratory data.Provide follow-up instructions to patients.Handle advanced telephone triage.Engage in research projects.Essential SkillsProficient knowledge of medical terminology.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Case management skills.Must be a licensed nurse, preferably with a New York State license.Familiarity with NextGen and Epic healthcare systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.Licensed to practice in New York State with current NYS registration and in good standing.Record of prior stable employment and favorable references.Work Environment

This position offers a professional work environment with opportunities for career growth across over 40 different locations and specialties within the medical field. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with no required holiday or vacation work, though sick time is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
