Somerset Family Practice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient care team. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance. As an integral part of our patient care team, you will provide professional nursing care under the supervision of patient care providers in a supportive and collaborative environment. Sign-On Bonus Details: + $5,000 for LPN graduates or those with less than one year of experience (with a 2-year work commitment) + $7,500 for experienced LPNs with more than one year of experience (with a 2-year work commitment) Purpose: To deliver high-quality nursing care to office patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and wellness while supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: + Perform blood draws and specimen collection + Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and IV drip routes + Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments + Assess patients’ general condition, including vital signs and weight + Conduct IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse + Document all patient interactions, interventions, and medications in the medical record + Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information + Promote wellness through patient education and communication of physician instructions + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health) + Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures + Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing. + One year clinical experience preferred. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal *Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
