UPMC Somerset is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Telemedicine Center, with floating responsibilities across Somerset Pulmonary Medicine and Somerset Cardiology. This outpatient role offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work across multiple specialties in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Sign-On Bonus Details:

$5,000 for LPN graduates or those with less than one year of experience (with a 2-year work commitment) $7,500 for experienced LPNs with more than one year of experience (with a 2-year work commitment)

Purpose:
To provide professional nursing care to office patients under the supervision of patient care providers, supporting telemedicine and specialty services.

Key Responsibilities:

Draw blood and collect specimens. Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and IV drip routes. Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments. Assess patients’ general condition, including vital signs and weight. Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Document all patient interactions, interventions, and medications in the medical record. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information. Promote wellness through patient education and communication of physician instructions. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health). Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
