✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Lava Heights Academy in Toquerville, Utah✨   Lava Heights Academy is a residential treatment program that provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for vulnerable young women who are referred from juvenile courts and social service agencies both locally and across the country. The youth enter the program with a history of abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness and violence. They graduate from Falcon Ridge Ranch as educated young women who have overcome challenges and have demonstrated making healthy choices for themselves and for their future.    Pay: $100,000 per year, depending on experience.   Perks & Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and company paid Life Insurance within 90 days, and 401k match of up to 6% after 1 year of employment, Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues and more! ROP-benefits-and-perks-2   What you will do: A Nurse Practitioner oversees the medical department for both of our Southern Utah campuses. You will conduct our physical and psychiatric evaluations for new clients as well as any periodic update. You will oversee psychiatric medication management ensuring that the clients are treated correctly. You will assist in communication for insurance claims as well as interaction with client’s parents, guardians, and case workers. Additionally, you approve client treatment plans and review potential clients for suitability for our program.     To be considered you should: ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Possess a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Practice ~ Be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Utah ~ Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a patient-centered approach ~ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment ~ Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software ~ Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver:  possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.   Schedule: Monday – Friday ~ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm   Apply today and Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth!   After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults.
