Mobile crisis services in Frederick County are designed for individuals of any age who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team provides in-person crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate services and resources.  PRN positions available and preferred for scheduling. This is a temporary position expected to last up to 12/31/25.

What to expect.

This is an opportunity to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and relief to individuals in the community who are experiencing a behavioral health related crisis.

Specific responsibilities include:

Providing immediate interventions and support to address acute symptoms of mental illness, alcohol or drug use, or emotional distress. Assessing the need for crisis services, follow-up interventions, and transition plans, as clinically indicated. Maintaining working knowledge of community services and resources.

What we need from you.

Must possess one of the following at time of hire:
Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Two years of positively referenced work, student, or volunteer experience. A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.

The hourly pay range for this position is $31.73/hourly minimum to $40.86/hourly maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
