LCSW Full Time Opportunity -New Milford Hospital
Summary:
Provides clinical social work services and assessment, treatment, psychotherapy to address and meet patients' emotional and social stress. Provides clinical concrete services to patients across continuum.
Responsibilities:
1. 70% - Direct contact with clients doing counseling (psychotherapy.)
2. 5% - Phone Work
3. 5% - Collateral contact with other agencies making referrals.
4. 15% - Writing notes in charts
5. 5% - Supervising student.
6. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: MASTER'S LVL DGRE
Other Information:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school
Minimum of three years� experience
Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Ability to conduct psychotherapy, to chart, excellent people skills, compassionate, non-judgmental.
PREFER: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
PREFER:Three years experience, both inpatient and outpatient. Group counseling skills.
Working Conditions:
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
