**Library Page - Library for the Performing Arts / Performing Arts Museum, Creative Design and Exhibitions** **Department:** Research Libraries **Employment Type:** Part Time **Location:** Library for the Performing Arts **Reporting To:** Caitlin Whittington **Compensation:** $16.50 / hour **Description** **Overview** Are you a design student with a passion for the performing arts, storytelling, or public spaces? The New York Public Library has been a vital resource for books, information, and inspiration for over 100 years—and design plays a key role in how we share that with the public. As a Page in the Creative Design & Exhibitions department, you’ll gain firsthand experience supporting design work within a library and museum context. This opportunity offers exposure to exhibition design, visual communication, and the creative processes behind public-facing materials. You’ll work alongside experienced designers and learn how your skills can contribute to cultural institutions. We’re looking for creative, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A friendly, collaborative attitude is essential—you’ll be a valued part of the team and a representative of the Library. _The library page position is scheduled for 19 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
