We have a fantastic opportunity for Liability Desktop Adjusters to work anywhere in the UK 

 

We’re looking for experienced liability desktop adjusters/claims handlers to join our liability team to handle Third Party Property Damage claims. This will include cradle to grave investigation & handling static Third Party Property Damage claims resulting from motor impact incidents for prestigious clients which offers the opportunity to undertake site visits if appropriate. Support will be available from our own in-house surveyors and field adjusters where required. 

 

With one of the largest teams of liability experts in the world, Sedgwick supports and resolves property, general, motor, product and professional liability claims, and helps our clients maintain brand protection in times of crisis. 

 

The skills you will have when you apply: 

Knowledge of Crown Property claims would be an advantage 

Understanding of Indemnity Principles would be an advantage 

Team working and collaboration skills 

Insurance law knowledge and policy wording interpretation 

Contract, statute and civil liability knowledge and skills 

Strong investigation skills and attention to detail 

Understanding how to work with corporate clients, small businesses, insurers and brokers 

Influencing skills to gain agreement to proposals, plans and ideas 

The ability to listen and respond to people effectively while displaying empathy 

Good communicator who is clear and concise 

The motivation to provide a prompt, efficient and personalised service to internal & external customers
