About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What We’re Looking For

A motivated Benefits Specialist to administer the company’s health, 401(k), ADA, and leave programs with accuracy, professionalism, and care. This role acts as the go-to resource for enrollments, claims support, compliance issues, and employee communications —ensuring a seamless, supportive benefits experience aligned with regulatory standards and internal policies.

What You Will Do

Serve as the primary resource for employee inquiries regarding health plans, retirement programs, and leave policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PWFA).Facilitate the ADA interactive process, engaging employees in discussions to identify reasonable accommodations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation supporting ADA accommodations, leave requests, or other related needs, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.Process enrollments, life-status changes, leave requests, and terminations accurately through HRIS and vendor platforms.Investigate and resolve benefit discrepancies, claims issues, and coverage disputes in coordination with HR and external vendors.Maintain accurate records and perform data audits to ensure compliance and data integrity.Ensure all benefit administration is compliant with federal and state laws; support audits and filings as needed.Lead benefits orientations and open enrollment presentations, ensuring information is accessible, engaging, and clear

Your Experience Includes

3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR functionSolid understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and 401(k) administrationHands‑on experience using HRIS systems, Workday preferredProven track record of advising employees on eligibility, coverage, leave, and claims resolutionDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalismBilingual English/Spanish or Creole proficiency is a plus, but not required
