This class is a First Year Writing Requirement class and thus the students complete numerous writing assignments. In addition to teaching and grading responsibilities the instructor will be required to attend all CLCIV 101 lectures, hold office hours for students, provide appropriate syllabus and course materials electronically, attend weekly meetings with the faculty instructor (Ian Moyer) and GSIs. **Required Qualifications*** Ph.D. in Classical Studies, Ancient History or Classical Archaeology Knowledge of Greek civilization and history and experience teaching Classical Civilization courses at the college level. **Desired Qualifications*** Experience in teaching writing classes. **Modes of Work** Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
