Lending Operations Manager-Collateral Insurance Monitoring
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Manager in Commercial Banking Collateral Insurance Monitoring. **In this role, you will:** + Manage and develop a team of individual contributors with low to high complexity and risk in Commercial Banking Collateral Management functional area. + Oversee borrower collateral activity, ensuring the proper controls are in place to protect the bank's assets and to identify and mitigate risk. + Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Commercial Banking Collateral Management functional area. + Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of Commercial Banking Collateral Management functional area and team to meet business objectives. + Interpret and develop policies and procedures for Commercial Banking Collateral Management functions with low to high complexity within scope of responsibility. + Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Commercial Banking Collateral Management + Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent. + Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Commercial Banking Collateral Management functional area. + Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines. + Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies. + Resolve issues regarding performance of a business unit or functional area to ensure business objectives are met. + Collaborate and consult with Lending Operations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customers. **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 2+ years of Leadership experience **Desired Qualifications:** + 2+ years of management experience + Experience motivating staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment + Experience building a strong team environment and fostering employee engagement + Commercial or Wholesale Underwriting experience + Insurance monitoring experience + Credit Spreading Experience + Demonstrated ability to lead Operations teams through change initiatives + Prior experience with Commercial Lending + Experience negotiating, managing, and amending complex credit agreements + Experience in leading process improvements and sponsoring technology initiatives + Experience with Microsoft Excel reporting and data acumen to make data driven decisions + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Experience reviewing and interpreting insurance policies as they apply to collateral secured loans + Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information + Understanding of risk and effective control management, with the ability to lead and achieve satisfactory audit results + Knowledge and understanding of collateral analysis for an asset-based lending company **Job Expectations:** + Ability to work hybrid schedule + Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening **Posting Location:** + Des Moines, Iowa This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship **Posting End Date:** 12 Aug 2025 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Equal Opportunity** Wells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
