The Leisure & Entertainment Manager is responsible for creating engaging and memorable guest experiences through the planning and execution of recreational, entertainment, and cultural activities.
What will I be doing?:
Assists in the development and organisation of activities and shows in collaboration with the Entertainment Manager, to ensure a varied and high quality daily entertainment program.Supervises and participates in shows and activities as required.Liaises with external entertainment providers (e.g. musicians) to ensure efficient organisation of activities.• Oversees the efficient implementation and execution of all SOP(s) at all times.
• Offers solutions to Entertainment operating problems and complaints.
• Monitors compliance of staff with grooming, hygiene and safety regulations and procedures.
• Verifies cleanliness and order in the Entertainment facilities.
• Supervises activities of staff and allocates tasks responsibilities for the Entertainment staff in order to ensure maximum guest satisfaction during performances.
• Assists superiors with organising and facilitating on-the-job training and coaching sessions in order to develop knowledge and competencies.
• Provides regular feedback to staff members on their performance.
• Conducts regular briefings and monthly meetings with the Entertainment team members to share information and handle any working issues.
• Takes corrective actions when necessary, and reports misconduct and unsafe work practices immediately to superiors.
