What you’ll doAs a Legal Technology Partner at Stripe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Stripe Legal team by integrating AI and innovative legal technologies into our operations. This includes actively managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and software that supports the Stripe Legal team’s day-to-day activities. This position demands a strategic thinker who can effectively manage a growing request pipeline, gather and translate requirements from legal stakeholders into actionable specifications, and prioritize initiatives based on their alignment with business objectives. Your expertise will help us automate routine tasks, improve legal processes, and empower our team to provide high-value strategic counsel in an ever-evolving legal landscape.
Responsibilities Partner with legal stakeholders to define requirements for technical teams, including managing system-related requests (bugs, enhancements, projects). Develop and drive the execution of a legal technology roadmap, from initial exploration and testing to full-scale development and implementation. Apply technology solutions, including AI, in innovative ways to address existing legal challenges, particularly through "low-code/no-code" functionalities. Stay up to date on the latest legal technology, AI models, APIs, frameworks, and trends, translating them into practical applications. Manage daily operations and maintenance of legal technology systems, including user support, troubleshooting, application configuration, issue escalation, and training. Act as the main point of contact for cross-functional technology teams on system changes, ensuring all changes adhere to relevant security standards and compliance requirements. Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Legal Studies, Business or a related field. 4+ years of experience in a technology support role, preferably within a legal environment. Familiarity with legal-specific software such as legal research databases, e-discovery platforms, and case management software. Proficiency in system administration principles, operating systems, databases, and a diverse range of software applications. Strong interest in and exposure to the AI/ML landscape, including hands-on experience with AI projects (even if not in a formal role). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in project management and vendor relationship management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
