Beacon Hill Legal's client, a global law firm, located in Lower Manhattan is seeking a legal recruiting assistant for a short-term contract opportunity that is expected to last through the middle of August, with the potential for extension. The candidate will assist with data entry, applicant tracking, candidate communication, and event coordination. The candidate hired must be able to commute to our client's office in Lower Manhattan and have 1+ year of experience in a Recruitment/Human resources capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the firm's applicant tracking systemImport candidate data (resumes, education, JD year) from Simplicity into viRecruit; review and correct any discrepanciesMonitor and update candidate statuses, upload documents, and input interview detailsCandidate Management:
Organize and circulate candidate materials to the recruiting team and firm leadershipPrepare post-interview correspondence and self-apply candidate packetsE-file candidate documents and maintain orderly digital foldersReporting & Tracking:
Maintain department spreadsheets and charts related to onboarding, prospects, candidate outcomes, and recruiting expensesTrack RSVPs for law student events and maintain prospective candidate listsLogistics & Coordination:
Book conference rooms, order catering, and manage calendar invites for interviews and recruiting eventsQualifications:
Previous experience with applicant tracking systems (especially viRecruit) a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
