If so, let‘s talk. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Legal Operations Professional at IBM, you'll be part of a dynamic Bangalore-based legal team, collaborating with lawyers and fellow operations professionals across the globe to assist IBM's global lawyers and business teams. Your responsibilities span across various domains, inclusive of Technology, Law Firm and Vendor Management, Finance, and Process Improvement. You'll contribute to all lifecycles of a legal engagement, from early contracting support to vendor approvals and payments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, Finance, and Technology to improve key processes and deliver on business objectives and results with excellence. With experience, your role will evolve, taking on increasingly complex assignments. This [attorney / legal professional] role will be in the Legal Center of Excellence (CoE) to be set up in Bangalore, India. The Legal CoE will be dedicated to achieving continuous operational improvement in legal service delivery across IBM's diverse business areas and geographies. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Essential qualifications: 5+ yrs of experience in legal ops. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of legal terminology and processes, as well as a desire to improve processes and procedures. * Ability to analyze data and use business performance metrics to make decisions. * The ability to work independently on matters, with supervision requirements decreasing as familiarity with IBM's operations increases, is crucial. * A strong commitment to integrity and ethical conduct is key. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Proficiency in legal technology, contract management and legal research tools. * Familiarity with IBM's policies and procedures is a plus. * Proficiency of lean and agile methodologies. * Prior in-house legal experience, ideally within a multinational company, would be advantageous.
