Make an impact 

Become part of a team that drives legal advice on Intellectual Property (IP) with commitment and expertise. Contribute your IP and IT expertise to exciting national and international M&A projects – from due diligence and contract drafting to strategic transaction structuring. Support Siemens in acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures – with a focus on IP-related contract negotiations. Represent Siemens in national and EU-funded R&D projects, advocating for our interests with negotiation skill and foresight. As a strategic partner, you identify opportunities and risks early, help shape negotiation strategies and develop smart solutions together with the business. You break-down complex legal issues into clear, precise, and practical advice. Work in an international environment with interdisciplinary teams, drafting and negotiating contracts – primarily in English. Collaborate closely with colleagues across the global Siemens Legal Community and confidently coordinate external legal counsel. 

Your defining qualities

Education: You have successfully completed both German state law exams with above-average results or hold a comparable international qualification. Experience & SkillsYou possess solid knowledge of IP law and experience in drafting and negotiating license, technology transfer, cooperation, and R&D agreements – ideally also in the context of national and European funded projects. Ideally, you already have relevant professional experience in IP within M&A – for example, from an international law firm. Ways of workingYou are open to new topics in IP and IT law, ideally bringing initial experience – or you are eager to explore new legal areas and help shape them actively. You are passionate about technological innovation and want to help shape the future in an international, interdisciplinary environment – together with highly qualified colleagues and business partners. You are willing to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally.Languages: You communicate confidently in German and English – both written and spoken, even in complex negotiation settings. Additional language skills are a plus.
