If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework.**_ _*_ As a Legal Assistant, you will assist the Department of Human Services (DHS) to stay in compliance with state and federal laws by providing the Contracts and Legal Compliance Division (CLC) with advanced legal support services. This position exists to assure that the appropriate stakeholders are engagedin contract template and contract manual updates, and, to provide coverage for contracts and purchase orders in SWIFT. **Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:** + Manage contract templates and forms via the DHS templates and forms web platform. + Review and post Grant RFPs and related documents, and manage content on the DHS Grant RFP website. + Draft updates to current and develop new templates and forms and publish via the DHS web platform. + Consult with Contracts Attorney Supervisor, Contracts Attorneys, Contracts Coordinator Supervisor, Contracts Coordinators, and the Director of CLC (CLC Staff) when updating templates and forms. + Manage public data requests specific to DHS records. + Gatherandanalyzelegal and otherresearchandmakerecommendationsbasedonthefindings. + Verify contract evaluations are completed timely once contracts end. + Compile contract related data for reporting. + Participate in special projects. + Provide additional legal and policy support as needed. **Minimum Qualifications** **_**To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month, day and year for each job held.**_** Two (2) years’ experience ensuring documents meet legal and/or policy requirements.
