Legal Assistant - Conveyancing
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
£27,521 - £28,970 per year
35 hours per week
As a Legal Assistant – Conveyancing you will be dealing with all aspects of property resales for the business. You will sit within the Conveyancing team, which is a small team of 6, this is part of the wider Legal Services team. The focus of the role will be to support the delivery of conveyancing services in line with legal obligations and the Group's policies.
The role of Legal Assistant- Conveyancing will include:
Support the delivery and process of conveyancing transactions which will include homeownership re-sales, staircasing transactions, lease extension and homebuy loan redemptions Co-ordinate effective legal administration service to ensure all records of transactions and related activity are maintained accurately to demonstrate corporate compliance in all aspects of conveyancing transactions Maintain accurate, accessible and up-to-date data conveyancing transactions and related KPIs for auditing and reporting purposes Assist in the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately Contribute, as appropriate, to special programs and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives
Skills and experiences:
Proven experience within a similar administrative role is essential Previous conveyancing experience is preferable Previous experience within a customer service focused admin role A working knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current practice High accuracy with excellent attention to detail The ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner Experience using Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook or similar
