Legal Assistant

Adecco Staffing is currently recruiting for a Legislative Assistant to support a well-respected Government Affairs team in downtown Albany for a direct hire role. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about the legislative process and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate and schedule meetings
+ Maintain and update internal databases
+ Track time and assist with billing processes
+ Provide administrative and project support as needed
+ Participate in client and legislative interactions
+ Support day-to-day operations for the Government Affairs team
**What We're Looking For:**
+ Associate’s degree or higher
+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
+ Prior experience with the New York State Legislature, a lobbying or law firm, or a membership-based organization is strongly preferred
+ Strong understanding of the legislative process
+ Excellent political judgment and communication skills
+ Ability to develop and maintain relationships with legislators, staff, and clients
+ Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities
**Technical Requirements:**
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other web-based meeting platforms

**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
