Legal and Compliance Analyst

Johnson Service Group is looking for a contract Legal and Compliance Support Analyst to work in Augusta, GA.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with general counsel, Legal Department’s Global Anti-Corruption Compliance team, and other internal customers in regard to legal and compliance matters.
• Analyze and summarize legal and compliance information and data gathered in accordance with policy requirements from covered business partners and submit to TSV and Textron general counsel for review.
• Provide updates on action items and projects to general counsel and the Corporate Ethics and Compliance team on a regular basis.
• Maintain due diligence records, spreadsheets, and other miscellaneous department files and records in compliance with record retention requirements.
• Generate legal and compliance reports as requested to identify process improvements.
• Demonstrate strong reasoning, analytical and sound decision-making skills when responding to customer inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent preferred
• Years of Experience: P1: 0 to 2 years of work experience required, experience in corporate legal department or a law firm and/or business experience preferred; P2: 3 or more years of work experience required, experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm and/or business experience preferred
• Software Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office Suite software, Team Connect experience preferred
