This role works independently on complex legal issues with some guidance and applies their professional know-how to support the achievement of business or corporate objectives. The Legal Advisor devises solutions based on limited information and uses past experience to identify solutions or to adapt existing approaches to resolve issues. **What you'll be doing** **What will your responsibilities be?** + Review draft contracts and terms and conditions in RFPs and assist the pre-sales and sales team with legal queries and provide the correct NTT DATA terms and conditions for the goods and services being sold. + Draft, review and negotiate client contracts in accordance with NTT DATA Group’s client contracting and risk policies and playbook. + Draft, review and negotiate vendor agreements in accordance with NTT DATA Group’s vendor contracting and risk policies and playbook. + Maintain a client and vendor agreement data base. + Maintain a list of priority laws and advise the business of any upcoming laws affecting the goods and services that NTT DATA sells. + Assist the Data Protection and Privacy team with the review and negotiation of data processing agreements. + Draft correspondence, reports and settlement documents and adjust work priorities due to changing deadlines. + Provide company secretarial support on corporate matters. + Advise the business on employment/HR, finance and ad hoc legal matters, as required. **What will make you a good fit for the role?** + A team player but with the ability to work autonomously. + Good communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders including bid support, sales, operations and technical teams across the NTT DATA organization. + Highly organized personality and able to manage multiple tasks at once. + Comfortable working in situations with imperfect information. + You are able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. + You are curious by nature and learn quickly. **What do you bring?** + Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a law firm, particular preference will be given to those with technology and/or telecommunication experience and public sector procurement experience + Qualified to practice law in Czech Republic, Czech bar exam is an advantage. + Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements + Understanding of laws applicable in IT sector + Good understanding of the GDPR and DORA. + Experience in employment law + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Czech and English. + Excellent interpersonal communication skills. **The Team** + You will be part of a European community of lawyers and legal experts – the ‘EU Legal Centre of Excellence’ -, with interaction at regional and NTT DATA Group level, as required. **What can we offer you?** + Work in a global international innovative environment. + We support flexible working and equal opportunities as we believe that diverse teams provide the best mix of interpersonal and technical skills needed to exceed our customers’ expectations. **Workplace type** **:** Hybrid Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
