Job Description

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for a Lecturer of Kinesiology to begin Fall 2025.

This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 9-month academic appointment. Primary duties will include teaching undergraduate courses (15 semester credit hours per semester) in physical education/coaching, exercise science, and fitness/health. Candidates must be able to deliver content in various formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with availability for morning, evening, and/or weekend classes. Duties also include provide service to the university and community. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a earned Master's degree or higher in Kinesiology or a closely related field. We strongly encourage candidates with proven teaching experience in coaching, physical education, exercise science, or related areas.
