To teach and assess across a range of courses within the teaching department and act as a course tutor to groups of students. To carry out all associated duties in line with the College Quality Improvement; Key Performance Indicators and College strategic priorities and the College Teaching, Learning and Assessment standards. In addition, the post is required to take on an additional area of responsibility within the College from the list below at Programme Lead level if appropriate.
The responsibility will be reviewed each year as part of the performance development review (PDR) process.
The Department of Digital and Creative Industries is situated in a purpose-built building on the Aireville Campus of Craven College. It offers a wide range of full and part-time courses in IT, Esports, Hospitality and Catering, Creative Media, and Performing Arts, from Entry Level to Level 6. The School provides a dynamic and stimulating environment for students and staff and has high expectations of both, in terms of academic success.
The Performing Arts area delivers UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diplomas in Performing and Production Arts as well as UAL Level 1/2 Diplomas. We also deliver the Level 4 HNC and Level 5 HND in Performing Arts (Acting) There are dedicated studios for rehearsal and performance with industry standard equipment for lighting and sound.
