Teaching Afrikaans Home Language to BEd students from first year to final year in the SPFET department. Curriculum development and other learning materials. Supervising students on teaching practice. Research and involvement in research activities (publications and supervision). Academic administration and development. Adequate content and pedagogical content knowledge. Assessment and quality assurance. Networking with schools and other networks. Community engagement. Coaching and mentoring students. Meticulous planning and organising skills. Ability to align yourself to hybrid teaching and learning models (face-to-face and online learning). Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
