Leave Support Specialist

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Leave Support Specialist. 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $82500.03 - $121000.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton is currently seeking a Leave Support Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our North American HQ in Beachwood, OH. Flexible hybrid work schedule available from Beachwood, OH. 
The Leave Support Specialist serves as process subject matter expert with in-depth understanding of the full end-to-end leave process, including but not limited to FMLA, Short Term Disability (STD), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), State Leave Laws, Military Leave (USERRA), Canada Leave process, Eaton leave policies, and coordinating the interactive process for accommodation requests under the ADAA.  This position will be responsible for assisting with questions, escalations, and support for all Leave as an escalation point for complex issues.  
Job Responsibilities:
•    Partners with HR Business Partners and managers in the field to help with questions and escalations related to leave benefits. 
•    Responds to escalated inquiries into the Employee Contact Center and HR Operations that requires additional support/research. 
•    Serves as a liaison between Eaton, employees, managers, and third party administrator for leave related matters. 
•    Responds to leave policy related questions. 
•    Process system errors to ensure proper coding in both HRIS, Payroll, third party administrator systems. 
•    Assists in identifying and developing process and efficiency improvements. 
•    Assures processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place to capture and maintain consistent and accurate processes for leave related items. 
•    Support ongoing education system wide for both employees and managers in regard to leaves of absence processes. 
•    Training and Compliance: Attend on-going continuing education on Leave of Absence topics and ensure 100% federal and state compliance in all areas in which we operate. 
•    Train other benefits specialists for Americas region as needed. 
•    Ensure that compliance/legal guidelines are followed and standards are met. 
•    Partners with support team to training/guide on LOA related issues and resolutions.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•    High School Diploma/GED required.
•    Minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience.
•    No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered.  Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
•    Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred qualifications:
•    Bachelors Degree from accredited institution. 
•    Experience working with HRIS and leave management software.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office.
•    Knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act, Military Leaves, and other applicable federal and state laws, as well as company leave policies
•    Basic knowledge of commonly used human resources concepts, labor laws, and practices
