Leave Of Absence Specialist

Job Title: Leave of Absence Partner (Contract)

Location: Remote (U.S. based)

Pay Range: $26–$29/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

We are seeking a Leave of Absence Partner to support U.S. leave of absence, accommodation, and general time off requests. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and experienced in leave administration and HR systems. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and compliant leave experience for employees.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full-cycle leave of absence process for employees and managersAdvise on the interaction of federal and state leave laws with company policies and benefitsMaintain accurate and compliant records of leave and accommodation requestsPerform quality checks on leave-related data in Workday and with the company’s third-party administratorCollaborate with People Business Partners, People Operations, and Payroll to ensure consistent leave administration

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of leave of absence administration experience using WorkdayStrong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, HIPAA, and state-specific leave lawsExperience with PTO, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability, and workers’ compensationExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
