Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is looking for an experienced, yet hands-on Leave Manager to lead and improve our client's leave of absence and accommodation programs. This position requires strategic oversight and hands-on involvement to ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a positive experience for employees. If you have a passion for leave administration and team leadership, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact. This is a hands-on role with one direct report for a company with operations in multiple states and several thousand employees.
Position offers hybrid remote with 3 days mandatory in-office.

Responsibilities:
• Manage leave and accommodation programs across multiple states, including hands-on management of a personal case load of 100 cases, and supervising a team handling over 150 cases.
• Serve as the expert on Oregon leave administration and related regulations, ensuring compliance across all programs.
• Design and implement policies to streamline leave processes, promoting consistency and efficiency across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain legal compliance and enhance the employee experience.
• Mentor and support the Leave Specialist, encouraging growth and development.
• Monitor and analyze trends in leave management, providing insights to improve program effectiveness.
• Facilitate training sessions to educate staff on leave policies and accommodations.
• Ensure adherence to ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Handle escalated leave cases with care and expertise, ensuring timely resolution.

Requirements • Extensive experience in leave administration and accommodation management.
• Recent hands-on experience managing complex leave cases.
• Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, and other compliance regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective leave policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring and growing a team.
