Job Description
Job Title: Leasing Specialist
Primary Responsibilities: The Leasing Specialist supports a centralized multifamily leasing operation and serves as the key liaison between prospective residents and the property team. This role is responsible for managing the full leasing funnel, responding to leads, scheduling tours, guiding applicants through the process, and ensuring a high-conversion, resident-friendly experience.
As part of a centralized team, the Leasing Specialist will use EliseAI for lead management and communication, and Yardi as the core system of record. They will partner closely with on-site property managers and application support specialists to ensure seamless coordination from inquiry to move-in.
Skills & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or Communications preferred but not required2+ years of residential leasing experience, preferred2+ years in multifamily preferred; centralized or remote leasing experience is a plusFamiliarity with EliseAI and CRM-based communication toolsStrong working knowledge of Yardi or other PMS softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfort with remote, high-volume, fast-paced leasing environmentsCustomer-first attitude with the ability to guide prospects across digital and phone channelsKnowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing complianceAbility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to meet lead response SLAsEssential Job Functions
Manage inbound and outbound prospect communication via EliseAI and follow-up workflowsQualify leads, schedule tours (self-show or in-person), and answer questions about availability and leasing criteriaAssist applicants with documentation and guide them through the leasing processCoordinate with application support specialists to ensure timely review and screeningPartner with on-site managers to relay feedback, confirm unit readiness, and escalate any location-specific concernsTrack all prospect activity and pipeline status in EliseAI and ensure Yardi is updated accuratelyContribute to a high-performance team culture by sharing insights, best practices, and market-level observationsDeliver high-quality customer service that reflects Maymont’s standards and valuesKey Metrics & Responsibilities:

Capable of working extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, including the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone
Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary
Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and with good reasoning skills
Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard
Environmental Requirements
Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes, and delays
Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances
