Description Job Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agents for contract and contract-to-hire positions in California. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of leasing compliance and regulations specific to California, ensuring seamless and lawful leasing processes. Responsibilities + Assist clients in the leasing process, including property tours, application processing, and lease agreements. + Ensure compliance with California leasing laws, fair housing regulations, and local ordinances. + Review and verify lease applications, credit reports, and background checks. + Maintain accurate records and documentation for all leasing activities. + Communicate effectively with prospective tenants, property managers, and team members. + Resolve tenant inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner. + Stay updated on changes to California leasing regulations and industry best practices. Requirements Qualifications + Proven experience as a Leasing Agent or similar role in property management. + In-depth knowledge of California leasing compliance and regulations, including fair housing laws. + Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Valid California real estate license (preferred but not required). + High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in property management a plus.
