Leasing Consultant
Description We are looking for a Leasing Consultant to join our team in Manahawkin, New Jersey. This long-term contract position involves engaging with prospective and current residents, promoting properties, and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while also being capable of working independently. Responsibilities: • Welcome visitors, prospective renters, and current residents with a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor. • Provide accurate information to potential and existing residents regarding property details and availability. • Utilize advertising techniques and social media platforms to effectively promote company properties. • Organize and manage paperwork related to property management activities. • Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace is well-organized. • Collaborate with the maintenance team to address resident work orders and property issues. • Update and manage the waitlist, including sending communication letters to residents. • Conduct daily property tours to ensure cleanliness, attractiveness, and compliance with repair standards. • Handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and manage email correspondence. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support property management operations. Requirements • Possess a warm, outgoing attitude with the ability to make others feel welcome and at ease. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including effective sales and customer service capabilities. • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Show proficiency in administrative tasks, with a detail-oriented and organized approach. • Adapt effectively to changing business needs and demonstrate flexibility in daily responsibilities. • Be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Have experience in answering inbound calls, managing email correspondence, and scheduling appointments. • Display a proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
