Job DescriptionAs a Lease Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing lease agreements for commercial properties- creating and performing abstracts for new leases and amendments, setting up and maintaining leases in property management software, and interpreting lease language.ResponsibilitiesCreate and perform abstracts for all new leases and amendments; complete abstract packages for review.Set up and maintain leases in property management software.Review and enter leasing information into the system. Maintain Common Area Maintenance and Real Estate Taxes information.Review leases and abstractions.Calculate percentage rent charges where appropriate.Input cash receipts in property management software.Assist Property Managers in evaluating issues related to tenant accounts.Perform invoice reviews to ensure alignment with tenant obligations to remit payment.Produce rent variance report and enter applicable variance explanations.Conduct preliminary review of operating expenses to ensure calculations are correct with supporting documentation.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of lease and lease abstract/amendment processes.Proficiency in lease contracts and commercial property leasing.Experience with invoicing and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliation.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate/property leasing.Experience with invoicing and CAM is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $26.44/hr.
