**Job Summary**
The Learning Technology Specialist job family manages the company's learning platforms, by working cross-functionally with vendors and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure training modules, job support materials, and upskilling is provided to employees and contractors, while aligning to the company's missions. The roles leverage data and analytics to identify trends for continuous improvement and history for compliance needs. This job family also develops and maintains processes and guidelines to enable a successful learning ecosystem and improve user experience within the company's learning platforms.
**Platform Management**
+ Manages administrative and technical aspects of the LMS, LXP, and LCMS systems, including uploading content, creating courses & curricula, testing, assigning, maintaining, and reporting on learning content.
+ Maintains data integrity for the learning technologies, such as course descriptions, course or class changes, training content, materials, user groups, etc.
+ Collaboratively works with others in IT, system vendors, technical and operations training, NiSource leaders, etc. to proactively manage the learning systems to meet company compliance and planning needs.
+ Works with the administrative end users, such as content owners,to train them on the learning technologies' foundational functionality and their responsibilities within the systems.
+ Acts as the point of contact for administrative end users to troubleshoot authoring issues using critical thinking and testing as needed.
+ Stays current on all learning technology and learning experience design evolution.
+ Makes recommendations for future improvements to governance, content management, workflow processes, and user experience.
+ Authors and maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and consistent use of the learning technologies according to departmental directive.
+ Acts as subject matter representative for partners on how to best utilize the learning technologies. **Content Management**
+ Partners closely with the team of content owners, stakeholders, and vendors to support the execution of annual mandatory education and just in time training requests.
+ Implements learning elements such as campaigns, enrollments, and completions as well as manages content libraries, group permissions, taxonomy, reporting and dashboards.
+ Uploads, publishes, tests, archives learning solutions, assigns training curricula, and adds and deletes resources as needed.
+ Creates and manages overall course structures, curricula, templates, sets up programs, maintains learning plans, documents, and libraries in alignment with compliance and the organization’s needs.
+ Manages ticket systems through triaging, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with end users. **Data Reporting/Analytics**
+ Manages the distribution and availability of existing reports and operational and business outcome metrics within learning technologies.
+ Maintains confidential information as isappropriate when reporting learning histories and data metrics.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Learning, Information Design, Communications, or 2 years related field or platform management experience
+ Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
+ Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
+ Ability to contribute and collaborate effectively as a member of a highly functioning and productive team
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a manner that consistently meets the organization's expectations for exemplary customer service
+ Strong oral and written skills; ability to communicate technical and procedural concepts in laymen's terms
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
+ Ability to work flexible schedule and travel (20-30%)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in the utility industry
+ Workday Learning Certification
+ Prior experience in a role supporting a learning technology implementation
+ Experience with xAPI
+ Proficient with Power BI or Tableau

**Salary Range*:**
$60,200.00 - $84,300.00
