About the Role: Transdev is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Learning Specialist to support the development and delivery of impactful learning experiences across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about employee development, digital learning, and supporting business transformation. The Learning Specialist will design engaging content, facilitate learning sessions, manage content within our Learning Experience Platform (LXP), and help to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
The annual salary range for this role is $74,000 - $92,000
Key Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and maintain scalable online learning content to meet evolving business needs.
+ Deliver engaging instructor-led training (ILT) sessions in both virtual and in-person formats, with a focus on professional development.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to develop tools and resources that support new processes and organizational changes.
+ Develop and manage training content within the LXP (Cornerstone), collaborating with subject matter experts.
+ Support managers in guiding employee development and career progression through effective coaching and learning plans.
+ Contribute to change management efforts by advancing skills-based learning and digital transformation initiatives.
+ Maintain and update the learning content catalog, course playlists, and training priorities to support strategic goals.
+ Design, and support onboarding programs that reflect Transdev’s values, policies, and compliance requirements.
+ Help manage compliance training programs in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
+ Analyze learning data and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to enhance learning outcomes and effectiveness.
+ Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual learning events, including scheduling, materials, and venue setup.
+ Champion a learning culture by coaching employees and promoting opportunities for continuous development.
+ Other tasks and projects are determined by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Bachelor degree in Education, Human Resources, Communications or a related field.
+ Familiarity with learning platforms or LMS/LXP tools (experience with Cornerstone is a plus)
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google products, especially Excel.
+ Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic improvements.
+ Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
+ Experience documenting standard work processes.
+ Ability to be flexible and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
+ 1-3 years of relevant experience in learning & development, HR support or similar role.
+ Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) – ATD
+ Instructional Design or eLearning Development Certification
+ Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0) Certification
+ LMS Administrator Certification (Cornerstone preferred)
+ Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, or Scrum)
+ Familiarity with SCORM, AICC, xAPI, and other eLearning standards
+ Experience with authoring training asset tools like Articulate 360 or Adobe Creative Suite
+ Experience supporting union workforce training or working under collective bargaining agreements
+ Familiarity with compliance and regulatory training standards.
Travel requirement: Some travel; less than 20% annually
