Global Commercial Operations supports AstraZeneca’s global brand teams and marketing companies to deliver quality commercial content to external customers, including doctors, healthcare professionals, and patients. We do this by promoting, producing, and publishing best-in-class commercial content for marketers and our global sales force and embedding a digital compliance capability across the organization.
In order to deliver our Global Commercial Operations vision, we are looking for an experienced Learning Specialist - GxP who will be responsible for managing the LMS and LCMS. They support the end user by working with individuals and administrators in the field to register, support e-learning, and training support requests. They also work with various levels of operations by providing training and compliance reports. This position is responsible for gathering information from users and compiling and generating reports as needed. This individual will apply proven communication and writing skills along with operations knowledge and expertise in order to manage online training.
AccountabilitiesSystem Maintenance and Operations Support
Work with LMS provider to remain updated on system specifications and updatesCommunicate updates and changes to the field as neededProvide end-user support (application support, e-learning, training support requests, and other areas as requested)Learning Administration SupportManagement of courses, creating courses, classes, curricula, certifications, and enrolling users using the registration desk, individually and or batch processes (Prescriptive Rule) and creating audience typeUploading various course content such as (SCORM, AICC, documents, and Videos) into LMS, attach it to the learning event and validate it in different platforms such as Windows, Mac, and Android (Mobile devices)Management of Job role, creating roles and assigning them to the end users based on business requirementsManagement of workspace, creating new workspace, creating workspace pages using HTML and linking the courses into the workspace and enabling access to the end usersManagement of Pathway, Plan, Skills, Insights, and Groups in Degreed platformProficient in supporting different LMS platforms like Cornerstone Saba, Degreed, Xyleme, and SuccessFactorsCommunicate with various clients as needed in order to define requirements for a variety of training reportsRecommend training solutions through personal experience and feedback from the clients to improve the current structure of offeringsBackup and fix material hosted on the LMSPrepare, deliver and manage reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and future issues related to LMS dataPrepare, deliver and manage reports as requested from various business departmentsDocumentation SupportDevelop and maintain training and job aids for users (learners, instructors, and business unit administrators) of the systemInvolve or contribute in creating and maintaining business project process and governance documentsShould involve in creating quality-related documentsQuality AssuranceAdhering to the quality process such as peer audit and manual testing the assets pre and post go liveShould contribute in creating new quality processes and documentsEssential Skills/ExperienceBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience working within an LMS environment (Preferred: Cornerstone SABA or Degreed or Xyleme)GxP Computer System administration, support escalation point, and maintenanceGxP Computerized System Request Management and technical investigationCreating SOPs, Guidance Documents, and Work InstructionsSME who partners with QA on managing GxP enterprise applications throughout all phases of the system development lifecycle, including concept, design, implementation/validation, and operationExperience in Content curation and solve eLearning content issuesExperience with all aspects of learning solution development preferredExperience in communicating with a variety of groups of customers at different levelsThe ability to communicate how the training program and reporting works to support business needsBuild productive working relationships with the business unit you supportCommunicate effectively and possess strong business writing skillsProficiency or ability to gain proficiency in eLearning softwareProficiency in training curriculum development preferredEffective organization and time management skillsPossess outstanding customer service skillsExcellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectivelySolid understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, market dynamics, and major AZ business driversStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyDesirable Skills/ExperienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Excel and PowerPoint experience requiredWorking knowledge of Articulate and Captivate authoring toolsKnowledge of HTML and JavaScriptKnowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design processWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
