The Learning Partner reports to the Head of Local Learning Central

The Learning Partner Italy is part of the Central Local Learning team with responsibility for all Sanofians in the Key Market Italy. The Learning Partner actively collaborates with all Learning Institutes and Labs within the CoE Talent and Learning, and engages with local business leaders, Talent Management, and other in-market stakeholders to identify learning needs and skills gaps. This input is used to inform the annual learning plan.
Based on this, the Learning Partner develops an in-market learning deployment plan aligned with the annual learning strategy.
This ensures that local learning initiatives are aligned with Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), skills assessments, Sanofi’s strategic objectives and specific local needs.
Furthermore, the Learning Partner Italy works closely with external stakeholders such as trade unions and public training funds (e.g., Fondimpresa and Fondirigenti) to ensure effective collaboration and full utilization of available funding opportunities.
This includes the end-to-end management of funded training plans, from needs analysis, application, and plan submission through to execution, reporting, and audit readiness – in compliance with local regulations and fund requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Partner with in-market buiness and P&C stakeholders to understand up- and reskilling needs

Collect local capability & skills gaps and requirements and share with the Head of Local Learning

Develop local deployment plans, in alignment with the annual learning plan, for the respective market and GBU/GF, covering both functional and transversal needs

Implement local deployment plans for the respective market and GBU/GF in partnership with Global Learning Services

Create an engagement plan for the respective market and GBU/GF, aligning with their specific needs and objectives

Localize communications material to the specific markets

Implement local engagement plan for the respective market and GBU/GF in partnership with Global Learning Services

About you

Experience: experience in learning and development function and/or relevant business experience in the context of a matrixed organization; Proven track record in project management and planning; Understanding of 3E’s (Education, Exposure, Experience) and how to subscribe in both the development and learning setting; Experience in designing and deploying learning programs aligned with business strategy and skills development needs; Outstanding organizational and excellent project management skills, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities, able to manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously; In-depth knowledge of Italian public training funds (e.g., Fondimpresa, Fondirigenti), including their governance, application processes, compliance, and reporting requirements. Familiarity with Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and skills assessment methodologies is a strong plusSoft and technical skills: Proven communication and engagement skills with a well-developed ability to efficiently and productively communicate both verbally and in writing in English & Italian; Advanced technical proficiency for use in live Training; Strong interpersonal skills (with demonstrated stakeholder management, conflict management / resolution in group dynamic); Strong facilitation skills; Demonstrated ability to manage funded training plans end-to-end, including collaboration with external stakeholders such as unions, training providers, and funding authoritiesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in related field requiredLanguages: Fluency in Italian and English is required
