Learning & Leadership Development Leader

Position Overview: 

As the Learning and Leadership Development Leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing a cutting-edge learning strategy that directly impacts organizational growth. You will manage enterprise-wide leadership development programs, including manager and senior leader development, to enhance leader effectiveness, prepare talent pipelines, and align with the enterprise-wide talent development strategy.

You will strive to create a culture of continuous learning while aligning learning initiatives with strategic objectives. Your results-driven approach will build and scale learning programs that foster business transformation and prepare the organization for the future.

This role will partner with Business leaders, Managers and HR Business Partners to deliver best in class, comprehensive Learning, Leadership and Management Development - Education, Experiences and Exposure for our leaders. 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Learning Leadership: Lead the creation and evolution of a learning strategy that aligns with the organization’s overarching business goals. Drive change by ensuring learning interventions support organizational agility, performance, and long-term success.

Program Development: Architect and execute the development of forward-looking, high-impact learning and leadership development programs across different talent categories and organizational hierarchies, ensuring they are innovative, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Talent Assessment and Solutions: Partner closely with leaders to assess organizational talent needs, identify skill gaps, and provide tailored learning solutions.

Culture of Continuous Development: Champion a culture of continuous development and growth by promoting self-directed learning, mentorship, coaching, and collaboration across teams, enabling employees at every level to enhance their capabilities.

Learning Technology Integration: Drive the adoption and integration of cutting-edge learning technologies to provide personalized, accessible, and impactful learning experiences.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with training partners to ensure top-notch content, quality, and effectiveness of training programs.

Performance Measurement: Establish indicators to measure the success of learning initiatives and use data analytics to refine strategies and optimize program outcomes.

Innovation and Best Practices: Stay at the forefront of learning trends and emerging technologies, continuously evolving the learning strategy to reflect the latest innovations and best practices in the industry.

Work Experience

Skills & Qualifications:

Leadership and Transformation: Proven experience in leading and transforming learning functions in large to mid-sized organizations, with a track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide learning strategies and experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.

Leadership Development Expertise: Implementation experience with leadership development approaches, programs, succession planning, and 360-degree feedback.

Instructional Design and Project Management: Deep understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies, combined with proven project management experience, to deliver complex, high-impact learning programs that drive business results globally.

Team Leadership: Experience in leading a team of learning professionals, providing operational insight and guidance.

Stakeholder Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Operational Management: Proficiency in managing operations and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Learning Technology Proficiency: Familiarity and experience with Learning Technology, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).

Education:

Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience: 20 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, with at least 8+ years specifically in Manager and Leadership Development with Global Engineering or IT Services companies.

Certifications: Psychometric assessment certifications are desirable.
