Learning & Development Specialist - Retail

At Morrisons, our stores are at the heart of everything we do, and so are our people. We’re investing in our Learning & Development team to strengthen our learning offer for our Retail Supermarket colleagues.

You’ll take ownership of our L&D activity across our store network, working closely with leaders and teams to make sure our colleagues have the skills, confidence, and support to deliver for our customers everyday.

This is not a one size fits all role, We’re always reviewing and improving the way we do things to ensure we’re supporting our customers in the best possible way. As such we’re looking for someone who is up for testing, learning and evolving as we go.

Your role will include:

Working with store teams and central stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and supporting them with the right learning interventions.

Designing, delivering and supporting blended learning solutions across key areas

Rolling out new learning pilots, gathering feedback and refining the approach

Building strong relationships across Retail, HR and our central teams

Helping us measure what works, and what doesn't, to continuously improve

Championing a culture of learning that feels exciting, inclusive and accessible

About you

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about people development within a retail service landscape. Stakeholder Management is a key skill required for anyone in this role, bringing together ideas from colleagues across different business areas to focus on the right solutions for our colleagues and customers.

You will also be:

A confident communicator who can influence and engage at all levels

Curious about new ways of learning and eager to try them

Organised and self motivated with a hands on approach
