A Learning & Development Manager is responsible for organising, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience while support management on proper policies and procedures.
What will I be doing?
As a Learning & Development Manager, you are responsible for organising, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience. An HR Training Officer will also be required to support and advise management on proper policies and procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support and advise Managers on proper policies and proceduresSupport the hotel with departmental training requirementsOrganise, deliver, and evaluate training programmes as requiredManage succession planning with senior managers during the bi-annual appraisal processManage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability
Ensure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislationAssist in the organisation of Team Member social eventsWork with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industryPromote and endorse staff benefitsAssist and resolve team member and management queriesOversee annual training plan, monthly training calendar, SETA submissions for WSP and ATR and grants
