We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Training Coordinator to join our Amazon Learning Team based out of our new Storage and Distribution Center (SDC) in Toluca, Mexico. This strategic facility will primarily serve our network of Fulfillment Centers (FCs) in the region.
In this role, you will manage and work with our workplace process trainers (known as ambassadors) to deliver high standards of training to our new and existing associate workforce. You will thrive in this role if you are dynamic, an organized self-starter, a strong communicator and highly value teamwork. The successful candidate will be trained in both the standard work and tools used within the Learning function and will be trained and required to work across SDC processes such as receiving, storage, and distribution operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop, deliver and assess a multitude of training programs for both new and experienced associates
- Perform data entry including creating, entering and updating training rosters
- Lead & Support Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associates
- Assist in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the FC
- Ability to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in new processes
- Complete understanding of the safety procedures in the FC to ensure that associates are operating safely and take immediate corrective action where necessary
- Ensure compliance with audits and refresher/one point change training
- Ensure area readiness and area organization for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activities
- Spend a minimum of 5 hours per week in a process path (rotate through paths) to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers
- Coach and positively impact associates to succeed in their roles
A day in the life
Your typical day as a Learning Coordinator at our new SDC combines hands-on operational support with strategic learning management. The role involves starting the day reviewing metrics and conducting morning stand-ups, followed by delivering training sessions to new hires and supporting our Ambassador network. You'll spend time on the floor maintaining process knowledge, particularly in receiving, storage, and distribution operations that support our Fulfillment Center network. Administrative responsibilities include managing training documentation, conducting compliance audits, and coordinating with FC partners to align training needs.

This represents a significant milestone in Amazon's growth in Latin America, and you'll be part of the founding team that will shape the future of our upstream operations in the region.
This team will play a crucial role in Amazon's supply chain network, managing the strategic storage and distribution of inventory to multiple Fulfillment Centers across Mexico. We're focused on operational excellence, innovative solutions, and continuous improvement as we establish this key node in our logistics network.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in performing data analysis and understanding data sets and tools
- Advanced MS Office suite user, especially Excel
